       May 4, 1970 is an event that will always be remembered as a time of tragedy (Grace). At this time the Vietnam war was going on, and several disgruntled students were protesting at Kent State University (Grace). These particular protests were going on for about three days (Wikipedia). During this time, many students became rowdy and the national guards was called in (Wikipedia). Eventually, 9 were injured and 4 were killed by the national guards (Wikipedia).
